Bloom from a Garden of Thorns


Nowadays, people are having a hard time with how can they revamp their lifestyle. With that, I would like to create an application that focuses on the person’s overall well-being. I would call it “Bloom Journ.” By the name itself, this is an application that helps you bloom with confidence and energy. In using this application, you will be able to become a better version of yourself.

At each end of the day, you will be asked by the application: “How was your day?” and “What did you do today?” Then you will reply with the things and events that you did in your day as well as what happenings highlighted your day. These can be the things that you are grateful for, goals that you want to accomplish, or habits that you want to get rid of and improve in the long run. For example:

  • I woke up at 6 am to start my morning exercise

  • I went outside to breathe fresh air

  • I slept at 3 am 

  • I spent a lot of money on Shopee

  • I ate pizza, milk tea, and cake


The catch is that you will reply by voice. After you reply, the app will start processing the information and then input it just like a journal. Moreover, the application can now set goals and daily tasks for you. Just like in the example, the application can set a goal for you to have a spending limit per week, have a balanced diet, have adequate hours of sleep, wear your mask when going outside, and a lot of other things.


Other than this feature, the application also has daily trackers such as mood trackers, money trackers, menstruation trackers for women, and habit trackers.


Once you achieve a goal, the application may give you points that could be used in other apps to redeem whatever you like such as food, clothes, transportation, and the like. This is to remind you that you did your best for today and deserve a reward after successfully completing the tasks.


There may be upgrades and enhancements for the application to be more entertaining for the users. Moreover, this application can boost your self-esteem as well as create a strong daily routine in maintaining your whole well-being.
